About Rescue Mission of Utica – Utica
Rescue Mission of Utica is a diverse community organization in Utica, New York, that has many services for people in need. That includes addiction recovery. It’s a faith based organization that can help you with several stages of your recovery.
There are two essential services or centers that this rehab has for addiction. The first is an addiction stabilization center. This is a residential detox center that can serve up to 25 men and women at a time. It’s a secure and welcoming place to detox from drugs and alcohol and to get past the high risk first days of your recovery. The team can offer medications to reduce withdrawal symptoms along with counseling and introducing you to AA or NA. They’ll also work with you to put together a plan for your recovery.
The other addiction program that they offer is the Parker House Residential Aftercare Program. This residential rehab for men is a six month recovery home program. You’ll live at the home while you receive counseling and Bible study. You’ll get outpatient addiction treatment and chapel services too.
Whether you’re a fit for one or both of these programs, they’re only a few of the many community services this community center offers. I was impressed to see how much they’re doing for the community with a homeless shelter and job training along with food services and so much more.
