Residential Youth Care – RYC offers trauma-informed mental health and addiction recovery services for youth and families in Ketchikan, Alaska. Residential

Clients receive medical and mental health assessments, personalized care planning, and complete care management for themselves and their families. They also engage in intensive individual, group, and family counseling and age-specific life-skills training. Treatment addresses topics such as coping, self-care, wellness, communication, emotional regulation, decision-making, and relapse prevention. Their programs are based largely on a Teaching Family Model that supports clients’ sustained recovery through therapeutic relationship-building and prosocial behaviors.
Aftercare
Their aftercare programs provide a complete continuum of care aligned with clients’ evolving needs. Services may include outpatient addiction counseling and recovery education, transitional support for clients stepping down from inpatient care, and referrals for additional medical, mental health, and social services.
