Restorative Management Corporation is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Port Jervis, New York. They provide treatment to people with substance use disorder and to people who are trying to quit smoking. They also work with justice system clients. Their dual diagnosis program allows them to help people who have been diagnosed with a mental health condition and substance issues simultaneously.
When you first go here, you will have a psychiatric assessment as well as a chemical dependency assessment. This will determine the type of treatment you need and how often you need it.
The care team here specializes in group and individual therapy. They have a standard outpatient program in which you will come in once a week for therapy and an intensive outpatient program in which you will come in for several hours a day.
The individual therapy will be designed specifically for you. They have several different groups here including those for women and one for people who have had issues with domestic abuse due to substance use. They also have groups specifically for anger management and relapse prevention. They have a smoking cessation program which is a bit unusual for a rehab.
Something interesting about this center is that they can train you on how to use Narcan. This will come in handy if you ever see someone overdose. They provide Vivitrol treatment as well. This is a medication used to prevent relapses.
You will be assigned to a case manager who will meet with you regularly. You will be given a follow up assessment before you leave treatment.
