Riverside Community Care, located in Newton, Massachusetts, is an addiction treatment center that provides outpatient care to adults who are struggling with substance abuse issues.
Though outpatient care is certainly a lower level of care than inpatient or residential care, you’ll find a good amount of therapy options here to help you on your path to recovery. They also offer medication assisted therapy. This form of therapy helps those suffering from opioid and alcohol addictions. During treatment, you’ll receive either Suboxone or Vivitrol in order to limit potentially dangerous withdrawal symptoms and uncomfortable cravings. They also have access to other medications for cannabis and nicotine addictions.
During your outpatient visits, you’ll receive individual therapy, exposure therapy, group therapy, medication management, and prescription fulfillments. They accept most commercial insurances, as well as Medicaid and Medicare. If you don’t want to visit their center at all, they also offer Telecare. It’s not the most in-depth addiction treatment facility out there, but if you want your standard outpatient therapy, this could work for you or your loved one.
