Located in Riverside, California, Riverside Comprehensive Treatment Center is an outpatient center that treats men and women 18 and older. They specifically treat adults with opioid use disorder and offer medication assisted treatment (MAT) as well as behavioral health treatment for co-occurring disorders.
The center accepts Medicare and Medi-Cal. They also accept many commercial insurance plans. If you’re uninsured, you can self pay, and they also take payment from state and publicly funded programs. They also work with Veterans Affairs.
The MAT program at the center uses four medications to treat opioid use disorder. They are methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone, and Suboxone. These drugs, when taken under supervision, can help you withdraw from opioids without painful side effects.
They offer same day admission to the program. You’ll work with a provider who will determine the right drug and dosage for your situation.
An experienced counselor will meet you one on one for individual counseling. With the counselor, you’ll explore how your opioid addiction began and the effect it’s had on your life. You’ll work on rebuilding your self confidence, self esteem, and relationships.
The therapist may use different treatment modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). CBT helps you understand the connection between your thoughts and your actions and helps promote positive behavior patterns.
DBT helps you improve emotional regulation, stress tolerance, and mindfulness. This type of psychotherapy helps you accept and understand your need to make significant life changes and the value those changes hold for you.
