While it includes standard components like recovery focused education, relapse prevention training, and life skills training, you’ll also have access to individual, group, and family counseling, job coaching, and transportation to local 12 Step programs. If you want to incorporate elements from the adventure or fitness based programs into your treatment plan, that’s allowed, too.
At this facility, they emphasize physical fitness as a major part of recovery. While you work on your mental and emotional health through counseling and education, they’ll help you get your body in shape. Their fitness program is a natural complement to the meetings and therapy sessions they offer and is designed to make you stronger so you can heal better. It’s accessible with all of their outpatient services.
Their adventure therapy treatment is included in their partial hospitalization program. It allows you to connect with a peer group while you test your limits and explore new frontiers. The adventures take place in a natural environment outside of the rehab building and require you to use teamwork, problem solving skills, and communication to complete fun tasks.
