About Rosecrance – Belvidere
Rosecrance Behavioral Health is a CARF accredited treatment center located in Belvidere, Illinois. They specialize in providing high quality care to adolescents, teenagers and adults who are struggling with mental health conditions and substance use disorders. To provide you with the best level of care, they can complete a psychiatric evaluation and provide treatment for dual diagnosis disorders.
When you have time off from treatment in Belvidere, you can develop new sober interests like going for a nature walk on the nearby Kishwaukee Riverfront Path. Or you can attend a zumba class at Celia’s Zumba Fitness Center.
What sticks out to me is the variety of crisis services they have available at Rosecrance. When you’re experiencing a crisis, whether it’s life transitions, substance abuse related, or mental health, they offer short-term support to help you stabilize and stay safe. They provide intensive case management as well as a mobile crisis response team. Their Pathways to Success crisis service is specialized for youth 20 and younger who need intervention for behavioral health needs. Their Living Room provides a tranquil setting for emotional crises and offers an alternative to emergency room visits for stabilization. Their Certified Recovery Support Specialists can offer encouragement and support.
Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) ranges from eight to 10 weeks to help treat substance abuse and dual diagnosis disorders. This gives you flexibility to manage your weekly schedule by working, receiving treatment, and going home afterwards. They will provide you with tools to use to handle triggers and reduce the risks of relapse. You’ll also be introduced to 12 Step meetings.
