About Rosecrance Ware Center – Rockford
The Rosecrance Ware Center is an outpatient treatment center in Rockford, Illinois for drug and alcohol addiction and mental health conditions. They have services for people of nearly any age from children to adolescents to adults and older adults.
One of the core programs they have here for addiction recovery is their intensive outpatient program or IOP. It’s a structured program where you have nine hours of treatment per week. This is mostly group therapy and group educational sessions but you’ll also have individual therapy, relapse prevention planning and other treatment techniques.
They have special topic groups, too, so you can meet with others who are facing similar circumstances to yours. There are IOPs for adolescents and for adults.
If you don’t need the intensity of an IOP then you can also do outpatient treatment here at your own pace. They have psychiatric care as well and even a pharmacy on site so they can treat any co occurring mental health conditions you might have. They also offer medication assisted therapy (MAT).
This uses specialized medications to ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings for certain drugs and alcohol. This particular facility can offer Suboxone or Sublocade as well as naltrexone, Campral and Antabuse.
The client feedback about this treatment center varies a lot. Some people have had excellent experiences and credit the treatment with helping them get their lives back. Many others though have frustrations with the communication among the staff and several clients say that there’s a high turnout among service providers so it can be hard to build up trust with a therapist or psychiatrist.
