About Royal Life Centers at Chapter 5 – Prescott
Royal Life Centers at Chapter 5 is a medical detox and alcohol and drug rehab for adult men in Prescott, Arizona. They offer 12-Step-focused inpatient treatment and intensive outpatient programs (IOP), traditional outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare support, including dedicated services for persons with co-occurring disorders.
Clients are pre-screened with a short interview before admission to the 12-week program. Clients arrange their own transportation to the facility, located in a desert landscape, but cannot drive themselves. Upon entering residential housing, clients undergo 4-day or 8-day medical detox, which includes individual and group therapy, psychotherapy, and an introduction to the 12-Step model. Regular doctor visits are expected, and weekly phone calls and pre-arranged family visits are allowed. Clients are also provided tribal healing, life skills development, case management, nutrition counseling, and group and individual therapy. Clients can participate in outdoor adventure therapy like kayaking, hiking, and equine therapy, as well as activity therapy, such as journaling, art, music, and exercise. Chef-prepared meals and nutrition counseling are included. Indigenous treatments, such as Medicine Wheel and Native American healing practices and traditions, are also available.
Their aftercare services enable a complete continuum of care aligned with clients’ evolving needs and may include transitional support for clients transitioning to the Royal Life Sober House in Washington state.
