Their licensed residential units consist of one, two, or three bedrooms with visiting staff who provide individualized Medicaid-reimbursed services. Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and other psychiatric conditions. RSS also provides a safe place to work through underlying reasons for addiction or other problematic behaviors using mental health treatment with a multifaceted clinical approach. Crisis intervention and inpatient stabilization may need to take place before mental health therapy can be provided.
Dual diagnosis, often referred to as co-occurring addiction treatment, is for individuals who are struggling with two or more conditions at the same time. RSS addresses the mental health concerns and the substance use disorder concurrently. Anxiety, depression, or a psychiatric disorder may need to be treated professionally. This allows for the highest success rate in treating the addiction because it helps alleviate an underlying cause.
Group therapy involves treatment through the process of connecting in a group setting to discuss and work through mental, emotional, and physical issues. There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more.
