Saint Luke’s Northland Hospital is in Smithville, Missouri. They started in 1938. Today they provide behavioral health care for adults. They have inpatient programs if you have an acute condition, which can include drug addictions.
Their inpatient treatment program is short term While you’re there, they’ll give you 24/7 supervision, management for your meds, and counseling programs. You’ll have daily activities that can include health education classes, learning how to cope with stress and emotions, and any needed primary care. You’ll be assigned a case management team made up of social workers, doctors, nurses, chaplins and therapists. They’ll be responsible for setting up your long term discharge program. When you leave you’ll continue your recovery with self help groups and additional therapy in an outpatient program.
You’ll be expected to adhere to their policies at all times. The dress code prohibits jackets, hoodies, jewelry and tank tops. Cellphones are not allowed in your rooms.
