About SalusCare – Grand Avenue – Fort Myers
Located in Fort Myers, Florida, SalusCare is a behavioral healthcare facility serving the Southwest Florida community. They offer a residential treatment program called the Transitional Living Center for adults recovering from addiction. They also have a transitional care program which is a longer residential program.
During the short term residential program, clients can receive treatment that targets co-occurring disorders. It’s common for individuals who have a substance use disorder to also have a mental health disorder.
Treatment for co-occurring disorders will focus on treating both mental health and substance use disorders at the same time. In the longer residential program, you’ll stay in either a 14 bed women’s or 16 bed men’s transitional house. You’ll get the experience of living in a home life environment while pursuing education and employment and also continuing to receive treatment. They require you to meet specific income requirements and contribute a portion of your income toward your care to continue living in the residence.
