About Salvation Army Adult Rehab – Food Distribution Center – Seattle
The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is in Seattle, Washington. They have alcohol and drug rehab services for adolescents and adults. When you sign up, you’ll enter a residential program that lasts six months. There’s also a lot of resources to help you live independently when you graduate. Don’t worry about the price because all their services are free.
I like that their mission is to restore hope for everyone involved. This includes you and your loved ones. To do that, there’s three parts. Each part is called a bridge.
First, you’ll learn more about your addiction and plan your steps to become healthy again. They’ll talk to you about the importance of Christian healing and give you tips to cope with stress in healthy ways. This’ll include individual and group counseling, going to chapel, and education workshops. Next, you’ll learn how to give back. They’ll help you get a job, continue your education and become an outstanding member of your community. The last bridge you’ll cross is moving into independent living. At the same time, they’ll still expect you to attend Christian events and services. This may include fellowship gatherings and local 12 Step recovery meetings.
The family member of a past client says that they learned more about his disease and why it happened than any other place they’ve visited.
