About Samaritan Hospital – Behavioral Health – Troy
Samaritan Hospital – Behavioral Health is located in Troy, New York. They’re part of the St. Peter’ Health Partners network and provide detox, inpatient, and outpatient programs for substance and alcohol abuse. They also have dual diagnosis care to address underlying health disorders.
The detox program is designed to rid your body of toxins so that you can recover. To assist in this, you’ll be given medications to ease your withdrawal pains. The staff provides 24/7 supervision so that you’ll stabilize safely and not relapse. Once detox is complete, you can transition into an inpatient program.
Inpatient and outpatient programs can consist of counseling to address your addictions and any underlying mental conditions, such as anxiety and depression. When you complete your program, transitional housing may be available for long term recovery, although this is generally available only for men.
For teens and kids, there is a Health Home program to help children cope with bullying, stress, sexual harassment, and sexual trauma. These services can help children mature safely and not harm others or themselves. The Health Home program is available at no cost.
