San Juan Capestrano Hospital offers Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) for individuals with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. San Juan Capestrano Hospital is located at Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

San Juan Capestrano Hospital is committed to provide individualized care for individuals with alcohol and/or substance addiction. The program will provide professional care for patients to recover in a positive environment. Their compassionate staff is able to help individuals overcome even the most long-lasting addictions.

Hospital San Juan Capestrano offers treatment for adults 18 years and older. The program was founded in 1998 with the purpose of providing behavioral health services for individuals needing behavioral health services. The program will be tailored to each of the patient’s needs.

The main treatment approach of the outpatient treatment is group therapy. Some of the topics included at the sessions are co-occurring disorders, stages of change, effect on the body and brain, stress management, 12-step recovery, sober support, relapse prevention, grief and loss and women’s issues.
Patients also receive individual and group therapy and will participate in family therapy or family interventions at least once a week.

A typical day at the outpatient include closure meeting, experiential therapy (once a week), community meeting and registration.
