About Santa Barbara Rescue Mission – Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara Rescue Mission is an addiction and mental health treatment facility that serves men around Santa Barbara, California, who have struggled with lasting cycles of crime, addiction, homelessness, and poverty. This 12 month residential program provides support to help rebuild lives, and, even better, you do not need insurance to pay for the program. One of the best things about Santa Barbara Rescue Mission is that they are completely funded by private parties who support the mission’s work. That said, anyone seeking help at the clinic does not have to worry about the costs.
This facility is based upon Christian beliefs and values. The facility is completely inclusive, but it’s important to understand that you will be taught about Jesus if you choose to remain a part of the program. You are never obligated to change your beliefs to succeed in the program, though. Typically, Santa Barbara Rescue Mission works with people who have already tried multiple different treatment options and have found themselves with no other options. That’s why the recovery program is so lengthy. It’s designed to produce transformative change based on true understanding and love of who that person is outside of their drug use, criminal history, socioeconomic status or other life circumstances.
One of the best things about this facility is their overwhelmingly positive reviews from past clients who were genuinely impacted and changed by the grace and love they experienced at the mission. So many past clients said the program changed their life. One client said the program “gave me my life back and showed me that I really do matter,” while another one called the clinic a “safe haven.”
