Seafield – Outpatient is located in Medford, New York. They have outpatient services for drug, alcohol and heroin detox. I like that they are open six days a week and services are available for individuals who are 13 years old and up. Although most insurance is accepted, they are able to make payment arrangements on a sliding scale for those who are self pay.

What stood out to me is that they offer intense morning and evening sessions. This is great as more people will be able to receive treatment. Medication assisted treatment is available to help individuals with their cravings and lessen withdrawal symptoms. They offer an array of services that include a women’s group, parenting groups, relapse prevention groups and medical monitoring.

Psychiatric evaluations are also available. After your psychiatric evaluation, if mental illness is found, they do have a special program. The program is called Mica and it offers help to those with mental illness and chemical abuse disorder.
