About Second Chance – Hayward Recovery Center – Hayward
Located in Hayward, California is the Second Chance Hayward Recovery Center. This is a recovery center that works with men, women and DUI offenders who are experiencing struggles with their behavioral health.
There are dedicated services to help you address the mental health or substance use struggles you’re facing. Through evidence based counseling, you’ll work towards building healthy habits and essential recovery skills to guide your life.
Services are offered in an outpatient setting but there’s a 24 hour crisis hotline for immediate care as well.
There are dedicated group counseling sessions here that touch on a range of topics. Some of the sessions you’ll find include learning how to identify triggers and manage complex emotions.
There’s also relapse prevention support, coping skills development, stress management support, and guidance if you have a co dependency that’s contributing to your behavioral health struggles.
If you prefer individual services though, they do have one on one counseling as well.
There are different court order programs that you will find offered through Second Chance. Among these programs are classes for first time offenders who have a DUI charge. There are also anger management classes, domestic violence classes, and parenting classes for individuals who’ve been court ordered to seek out this treatment. Progress reports are available and can be routed to the appropriate court department as well.
