About Serenity Care – Mobile
Serenity Care is a residential treatment and prevention facility in Mobile, Alabama, for adult men who struggle with chronic addiction. Their focus is to provide a structured and stable environment for men who cannot stay sober on their own. I like that you will still be accepted into the program even if you are unable to pay the initial fees. You just have to show that you are willing to make the needed changes in your life.
What stood out to me is all the transportation they are willing to provide. They can provide transportation to mental health services, 12 Step meetings and to your job site.
You will receive three meals per day. You will also learn and develop new coping skills, behavioral skills and relationship skills through your time in counseling.
I like that they provide recreational therapy, as this helps break barriers and develop a sense of community among your peers. Medication management services are also offered if needed.
Their goal is to help you succeed in recovery without the use of substances. They will help you find job placement and help you with money management. Literacy training is also available.
