About Seven Counties Services – Louisville
Seven Counties Addiction Recovery Center has services throughout Kentucky, including its location on South Preston Street in Louisville. The Preston Street location is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). They offer outpatient treatment for individuals and families with mental health and substance use disorder issues.
The center’s CCBHC status means they can serve people no matter where they live or their insurance status. They accept Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE, and most commercial insurances. They also offer a sliding scale fee if you don’t have insurance.
They offer individualized outpatient treatment plans with a trauma informed approach. You can get a walk in appointment or you can call or make an appointment online. They also have a 24 hour mobile team that offers crisis intervention and stabilization.
Make sure you allow about two hours for your first appointment and arrive about 15 minutes early to fill out your paperwork. Be honest on your intake assessment, because they’ll make your treatment plan based on this appointment as well as pairing you with a professional provider. They also have services for the deaf and hard of hearing upon request.
Don’t forget to bring a list of any medications you take and past substance use services you’ve had. If you’re under 18, you’ll need a parent or guardian with you.
You’ll be treated for your substance use while also addressing any co-occurring disorders. Some common disorders include anxiety, depression, bipolar, and PTSD.
They also offer recovery housing. There’s separate housing for both men and women that take into account the specific needs and societal aspects of each. The men’s residential program is 60 days. While there, you’ll have a case manager and receive daily peer support and employment services. You can live there while on a medication assisted program.
The women’s residential program is for women coming out of medical detox and is 30-45 days. You’ll focus on the 12 Steps and may also have medication assisted treatment. Both the men’s and women’s residential programs help you build a solid foundation through a structured environment to help you maintain your sobriety.
