About SMA Work Release – Daytona – Daytona Beach
The Reality House on Indian Lake Road is part of SMA Behavioral Health Services’ work release program. It’s located in Daytona Beach, Florida. It’s a program established by the Florida court system for inmates to find steady employment as they wind up their incarceration and are ready to go back home.
At Reality House, up to 50 inmates can receive outpatient counseling and treatment for substance abuse. They’ll find better ways to cope without turning to drugs. There’s also opportunities to start reconnecting with families and communities as you complete your sentence.
You’ll also be in a work release program. This means you’ll have chances to find steady work, collect paychecks, and start saving your earnings. Transportation may be provided, or you may have to arrange your own way to and from the house. This is intended to help make your transition easier once you’re released. The goal is that once you’re released, you’ll make a seamless entry back into society.
If you have a crisis or need emergency care, SMA has additional services in Daytona Beach, including interventions, stabilization programs, and therapy for adults and teens.
