About Sobriety Solutions of New Jersey – Gloucester Township
Sobriety Solutions has an intensive outpatient addiction treatment facility in Sicklerville, New Jersey. In collaboration with the individual, the facility works to develop an individualized treatment plan that leads the client toward their recovery goals.
The levels of care available at this location are a partial hospitalization (PHP) program, intensive (IOP) and general (OP) outpatient programs, and the mindfulness based program. Most of the programs will feature individual, family, and group therapy sessions as a part of treatment. From daily transportation to specialized groups for vocational training, they help provide any resource they can to support a client’s recovery.
Partial hospitalization is a middle ground for clients ready to leave residential treatment but aren’t ready for outpatient services. Clients will participate in two individual sessions per week and a variety of different group sessions. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available in the program for those needing assistance with managing withdrawal symptoms. Some of the evidence based therapeutic approaches that will be used include motivational interviewing (MI) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
I like that the facility will also mix in some holistic behavioral treatments such as yoga and music and art therapy. This way, you can hone your body and mind as you recover. With music and art, you might even pick up new interests and expand your artistic palette.
The IOP and OP services offer similar services with slightly less time commitment so patients can continue working or handling other responsibilities. Clients receiving intensive outpatient care will meet three to four days a week for three hours of sessions a day. Sobriety Solutions provides both a day group and an evening group for clients to choose based on what works best for their schedule.
The mindfulness based group is helpful at teaching clients to better manage stressful situations that trigger their addiction. The program includes meditation groups, instructional meditation practices and trauma processing.
