About Solley’s Place – Oak Lawn

Solley’s Place is an outpatient substance use recovery facility in Oak Lawn, Illinois. They offer medication assisted treatment for opioid addiction recovery and DUI treatment for justice-involved individuals. They’re guided by the belief that long term but less intensive treatment facilitates lasting healing by granting you more to tackle all barriers to recovery. They provide a conducive environment that inspires folks to make behavioral changes.

Oak Lawn is a suburban area just southwest of Chicago. It is a thriving community with a mix of urban convenience and residential suburban feel. The area within the facility is bustling with various shopping centers, businesses and restaurants nearby. The W 95th Street, where the clinic is situated, links Oak Lawn to nearby neighborhoods.

The clinic is easy to access via I-294 and US-45. This enables them to serve folks from Chicago, Orland Park and Evergreen Park. The area has many natural landmarks as well. This includes Columbus Manor Park and Oak Lawn Park District Centennial Park.

Medication assisted treatment uses FDA approved meds alongside counseling to aid lasting recovery and abstinence. Solley’s Place boasts a broad range of meds for this program. This includes Suboxone, Sublocade, Subutex, Zubzolv and Vivitrol. Depending on your personalized care plan, you can be prescribed either of these meds to help you manage withdrawal symptoms and curb cravings. You’ll then attend counseling to tackle underlying issues, build coping skills and prevent relapse.

The most unique attribute of Solley’s Place is that they offer same day medication stabilization. That is, their care team can quickly assess your condition and provide the right med on the same day to help stabilize your symptoms. This fast-track access to recovery, especially for folks with severe opioid use issues.

The facility also offers harm reduction services including free Narcan distribution and training. Narcan is a life-saving medication used to reverse opioid overdoses. It can quickly restore normal breathing to someone who has overdosed on opioids like heroin or prescription painkillers. Harm reduction services aim to minimize the negative effects of opioid use, improve health & safety and provide support as necessary.

Solley’s Place wraparound services include case management. Your case manager may help with access to medical care, safe housing and job placement via community linkage. They can provide legal and transportation support as well.

You must attend a substance use evaluation and complete a treatment program when charged with DUI in Illinois. This is mandatory to regain your driving license. Solley’s Place offers comprehensive DUI services, including evaluation, risk education and early intervention.

Intervention involves diagnostic assessment followed by four therapy group sessions alongside one individual session. You’re then provided a personalized relapse prevention plan upon completion to help you stay on track and maintain your recovery. Risk education and early intervention are typically recommended for low to moderate-risk individuals.

Significant and high-risk offenders undergo intensive outpatient treatment and monitoring. The facility also offers out-of-state DUI services to help individuals who need to meet court requirements for DUI charges from other states while living in Illinois.
