Solutions Community Counseling and Recovery Centers in Wilmington, Ohio provides drug and alcohol treatment for adults. They also offer prevention programs for children and adolescents. Your counselor will also teach you skills that will help you live a lifestyle of abstinence from substances.
Group counseling sessions can provide you with encouragement from your peers and help you to practice your communication skills. One thing I noticed that SCCRC Wilmington offers are special groups or those struggling with dual diagnosis or use prescription medications with potential for abuse. In addition to these services, on a limited basis, clients can receive Vivitrol medication to manage withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings.
Wilmington is an hour outside of Cincinnati where you can visit the Taft Museum of Art or see the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Cowan Lake State Park is also nearby, where you can spend time relaxing in nature.
