About Sound Health – Seattle
Sound Health Rehab is a substance use and mental health disorder treatment facility founded in 1966. They have many locations including the facility at 1600 E Olive Street in Seattle, Washington referred to as Sound Capitol Hill. The Olive Street location can help you with addiction issues and co occurring mental health disorders. The programs are CARF accredited, and they take most commercial insurance plans. They can also accept Medicare and Apple Health/Medicaid.
This location offers addiction and mental health services for adults. This is also a safe space for those in the LGBTQIA+ community to receive services and work through their unique challenges. You can get medication assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use at Sound Capitol Hill which can be especially helpful for those with opioid use disorder. This clinic is an outpatient facility that’s open Monday through Friday by appointment and they have check in for walk in patients from 8:00 am to noon.
Substance use treatment is individualized based on the substance you’re been using and whether you have co occurring disorders. Co occurring disorders include mental health challenges such as bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. You’ll get integrated treatment for substance use and co occurring disorders through the substance use disorders services program (SUD).
The counseling services include initial and ongoing assessments. The therapy program includes trauma related services. They also coordinate care with systems and agencies serving children and adults. There are several programs aimed at helping adults live independently with an enhanced quality of life, such as the Adult Outpatient Program (AOP) which helps adults reduce mental health symptoms while supporting integration into the community.
If you’re involved in the criminal justice system, this location offers a criminal justice and re-entry program. The program offers appointments Monday through Friday. You can meet in person or through a telehealth appointment. Grief counseling, crisis response, and health and wellness management services are also offered at this location.
