About South Bay Guidance Wellness Recovery Center – Chula Vista
South Bay Guidance Center, located in Chula Vista, California, is a care clinic that serves men and women who need support for a mental health struggle or co-occurring substance use disorder.
There are recovery programs here that are funded in part by San Diego County and other state agencies. Because of this, they accept Medi-Cal and Medicare, along with most major insurance plans.
You will not be denied care because of an inability to pay or because you don’t have insurance. All of their services happen in an outpatient setting.
You’ll work with a dedicated team of mental and behavioral health professionals who will identify the unique struggles you’re facing. After a thorough evaluation, they’ll create a targeted treatment plan.
To help reach you in the way you need, there are services including a mobile outreach team, addiction counselors, and case management services. They also offer all of their services in Spanish as well.
Referrals for care can come from families, local hospital systems, and the justice system among other agencies.
