South Community Behavioral Health’s Main office is on Kettering Boulevard in Dayton, Ohio. The city is known as the “Birthplace of Aviation” and is home to the National Museum of the US Air Force. They offer several outpatient programs for substance use disorder treatment to help you on your recovery journey. All intake assessments are offered on a walk-in basis at their main office Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The intensive outpatient program is designed to meet your needs when you struggle with a substance use disorder and a co occurring mental health condition. They provide medication assisted treatment when it’s appropriate to support your long term recovery. The integrated dual disorder treatment program uses an evidence based treatment model for adults with serious mental illness and co occurring substance use disorder.

The integrated program addresses both disorders simultaneously, working with you to achieve sobriety while understanding your mental illness. Treatment improves your quality of life and seeks to help you achieve independence in housing, employment and other meaningful activities.

Your program may include evidence based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma focused therapy. Your program is designed to meet your needs and encourages you to participate in your treatment and recovery.

They work with most major insurance providers in the area and will verify your insurance coverage before beginning treatment. They also accept Medicaid and many Medicaid Managed Care plans.
