Southeastern Mental Health Authority provides mental and behavioral health care for children, teens, and adults in Norwich, Connecticut. They’ll provide round the clock care and will discuss your progress at weekly team meetings. You can attend those meetings on your own or bring your family members with you.
Those who need a lower level of care can enroll in their outpatient treatment program. While all plans are unique, yours may include a combination of individual and group therapy, medication management, and psychiatric care. During each therapy session, you’ll engage in evidence based practices such as dialectical behavioral therapy and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing.
