About Spring Hill Recovery Center – Massachusetts – Ashby
Spring Hill Recovery is a luxury alcohol and drug rehab on a 70 acre campus in Ashby, Massachusetts. It’s a coed program with separate male and female residences. They treat adults 18 years and older.
Most of the day in their program is structured with therapeutic activities. They use treatment models that have been proven to work, like cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. They do allow a little personal time in the evening when you can use your phone.
Their therapeutic recreation offerings include movie nights, nature based activities, wiffle ball, a basketball court and more. They have a fitness center with cardio equipment and weight machines. They employ a full time chef who cooks three meals a day.
An important feature of this rehab is that they’ll continue maintenance medications for opioid use disorder. This means that if you’re on suboxone they won’t make you stop it.
They don’t do detox here but they do have another facility where you can get medically supervised withdrawal if you need it. This would be appropriate for people with physical dependence to alcohol, benzodiazepines and possibly opioids depending on your situation.
They’re accredited by CARF and the Joint Commission. They also have accreditations at the state level. These accreditations help you know that you’re participating in an evidence based program that meets standards of care.
Their reviews are numerous and overwhelmingly positive. Most people who reviewed them thought the staff was very helpful, the facility was beautiful and the food was good.
