START Treatment and Recovery Centers is designated to youth and adults who are suffering from opioid use disorders and other substance use disorders, such as alcohol addiction. They’re also a dual diagnosis center, so they luckily treat mental health conditions that are co-occurring, as well. If that’s not enough, they even offer medication assisted treatment in the way of methadone, which is a proven medication that is administered by medical professionals to help dampen your withdrawal symptoms and lessen cravings.
When I say they treat youth, I specifically mean children between the ages of 12 and 17. Their detox and vocational rehab services come in the form of outpatient care. So, keep in mind that this center doesn’t offer residential care.
Their care, though limited to outpatient treatment, still offers helpful tools for youth and adults. They use psychotherapy to help their clients find the peace in recovery and sobriety that they’ve been searching for. They also offer individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy.
