About Straight Talk – Cypress
Straight Talk Clinic began thanks to a group of parents who were concerned about drug use among youth in their community. Today, it provides residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment and transitional facilities throughout Southern California.
They run a co-ed residential facility in Cypress, California. Medi-Cal insurance is a requirement for all residents.
Straight Talk’s Gerry House is a nonprofit substance use disorder facility that opened in 1990. It focuses on helping people struggling with addiction and mental health disorders. Folks can be admitted voluntarily or be court ordered.
They can accommodate up to 12 adults for up to 90 days. I like the small size of this facility which makes it likely that each resident gets that attention they need to support their recovery.
Straight Talk staffs their residential facility with addiction specialists, registered social workers, marriage and family therapists, psychologists and doctors.
If your addiction has landed you in legal trouble then this facility could align with your court mandated needs. This program is probation and drug court approved and it’s licensed by the Department of Health Care Services.
This treatment center is in a quaint residential neighborhood near convenient shops along Lincoln Avenue in northern Cypress. It’s close to Rosen Acacia Park and not far from Cypress College.
