About Sue’s Home – Community Care Network – Ocean Springs
Sue’s Home is a nonprofit transitional living in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. They provide faith based addiction, mental health, homelessness, and reintegration services for women and mothers. You’ll have access to a family of professionals and peers who want to see you reach your recovery goals.
They provide a safe, encouraging space for women in recovery and their children. You benefit from a balance of independence and support. You’ll focus on establishing a healthy routine for you and your children while transitioning to life in recovery. They offer tools like life skills training, Christian teaching and counseling, housing, and other assistance to empower you to learn how to navigate life.
What stands out most to me about them is their emphasis on longevity in treatment. They understand that building trust, opening up, and accepting help takes time. Their program is truly a home where women can learn from each other and foster mutually beneficial relationships. As you get back on your feet, they’re there every step of the way.
I also love that they recognize the effects of generational trauma. Their philosophy focuses on helping you heal, so you can break the cycle and sustain recovery.
