Sun Street Centers – Men’s Residential Program is a 12 Step alcohol and drug rehab for adult men in Salinas, California. They offer inpatient and aftercare programs. Participants are also active in the community by participating in volunteer opportunities. The program accommodates both English and Spanish speaking clients.

Their inpatient program focuses on various educational groups and classes designed to support clients’ development of a healthy, happy and productive sober lifestyle. Areas of the program focus on relapse prevention, family education, individual counseling and group counseling. Participants receive three meals a day and have opportunities for job development. While enrolled in the program, clients will attend 12 Step meetings as well as obtain a sponsor to provide individual recovery coaching.

They have a weekly aftercare program for graduates of the program. This may include peer coaching, 12 Step meetings and referrals for additional services.

The program accepts Medi-Cal and private insurance such as AmBetter, Anthem, BlueCross BlueShield and Humana. However, they also offer self pay options. Check with your individual insurance provider to verify coverage for substance use treatment as well as out of network benefits.
