Residential
Psychiatric rehabilitation is the primary focus of this program. Clients experience peer support along with professional care to help them learn how to function independently in society. Life skills and enhanced personal skills are taught. Psycho-educational groups and community outings are also offered. Northwestern Community Services also provides addiction treatment. Dual diagnosis concerns may be addressed through their rehabilitation program for addiction. Clients may participate in this program as a part of the outpatient service, or medication assisted treatment program. The intensive outpatient program meets three times a week for three hours at a time. Traditional outpatient treatment involves therapy on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Medication assisted treatment may be offered at any level of care.
