About TAFS – Teen and Family Services – Houston

Teen and Family Services (TAFS) is a peer based recovery support program for adolescents and their families suffering from substance abuse or other high risk behaviors. Teen and Family Services (TAFS) is located in Houston, Texas.

At TAFS their goal is to help your teen have: Continued abstinence, Increased empathy, Consistency in relationships, Help leading a life of fulfillment and success, and Improved communication. They aim to be a community for families to grow and heal from the effects of teen substance abuse.

At Teen and Family Services (TAFS) incorporates the Alternative Peer Group Model (APG) provides the following benefits: after school hangouts, weekend social activities, a group of youth who can relate to each other, encouragement from peers, a safe and sober environment, recovery oriented social activities, and ability to meet new lifelong friends.
