About Tampa Crossroads – Rose Manor – Tampa
Known for its pristine beaches, Tampa, Florida features Tampa Crossroads – Rose Manor. Since 1977 this women’s residential program has helped Hillsborough County residents advance in recovery and improve their overall wellbeing. Here, you can access a safe therapeutic community to hone in on recovery and other essential life aspects.
With residential programs, you live on campus while working toward your recovery goals. Their program provides holistic approaches tailored to your unique needs and situation. You’ll benefit from a tight-knit community to learn and grow in recovery. You’ll have responsibilities including cooking, chores, working and more.
What stands out most to me is their home-like environment. They emphasize peer support to sustain long-term recovery. You’ll complete chores together and enjoy family-style meals, weekend cookouts, backyard picnics, and other fun sober activities. They create a supportive space for genuine connection where you can learn from others and support each other throughout your journeys.
I also like that their program is phased. You begin treatment with more structure and restrictions. As you progress in treatment, you’ll benefit from increased independence. They also require you to find employment to support yourself financially. A phased approach means you can move at a pace that works for you. You’ll benefit from having as much time as you need for healing, practicing coping skills, finding stability and reflecting.
Lastly, I think their Veteran’s Assistance Center is fantastic. Just a few houses down the road, you’ll find a supportive space for Veterans and their families. You can access essential resources including housing assistance and other support services. They even offer short-term financial assistance to help you get back on your feet.
