Tellurian Behavioral Health Detoxification Center is located in Madison, Wisconsin. They offer a safe place for you to detox and prepare for long term treatment for problems with substance use and to guide you through the challenges of addiction and recovery.
They have a Residential Withdrawal Management Program that’s the first step in your road to recovery from extensive alcohol and or drug use. The facility has 29 beds with a staff of trained, credentialed professionals.
It’s a safe and secure detox center that will allow you to focus on recovery above all else. And they want you to detox with dignity in a humane environment.
You’ll work with state certified counselors, a registered nurse, and a board certified physician who specializes in addiction. Your typical stay here will last about three days or fewer but if you’re having more severe opiate withdrawals then you’ll likely benefit from being there longer. The end goal is to make sure you’re prepared to leave and be ready for ongoing substance use treatment.
This facility also has free fentanyl and Narcan strips available. They take most local and national health insurance plans for payment and it should be noted that they can’t take Medicaid or Medicare for their residential treatment program.
What I really like about this detox center is that they provide help for you quickly and they consider your dignity and the fact that despite going through some major problems at the moment you’re still a human being and treat you as such.
