About The Dimock Center – John Flowers Recovery Home – Boston
The Dimock Center – John Flowers Recovery Home started way back in 1867 and serves more than 19,000 people each year. They have alcohol and drug rehab services for men in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Treatment is provided on site and staff is fluent in Haitian, Portuguese, and Spanish. The program is funded by the Department of Public Health.
The John Flowers Recovery Home requires men to participate in detox treatment prior to entering their program. Services are provided in a residential treatment format. This means that up to 21 men stay on site for up to six months. Individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and case management services are provided. Some clients can graduate and get a job within one month of staying in the program.
You may also participate in alumni programming upon completion of the program. This allows men to continue their treatment with others who are in recovery. Families can also receive support through the Dimock Center. There’s a separate center for women and other recovery houses for men within the Dimock network, including detox.
