About The Family Abuse Center – Waco

The Family Abuse Center is an agency dedicated to provide help to all victims of domestic violence. Services include individual and group therapy, life skills classes, emergency shelter and support groups. The Family Abuse Center is located at Waco, Texas.

The Family Abuse Center offers a free and safe place where adults and children can heal from domestic violence and trauma. They offer 3 meals a day, individual and group counseling, transportation help, job and life skills education, medical advocacy, help with victim’s compensation and protective orders, information and referrals.

Additionally, they provide assessments, case management and play therapy for children.

They also provide support groups and life skills classes conducted by professionals, during the classes clients are able to discuss different issues and topics such as domestic violence education, boundaries, self-esteem, financial planning and more.
