The Foundry Ministries’ Women Center is a faith based addiction treatment facility in Bessemer, Alabama. They provide residential treatment for women dealing with substance use disorder. Their recovery model incorporates spiritual guidance with the aim of restoring hope through Christ like values and teachings. However, you can still participate and benefit from this program even if you’re not a Christian. They offer safe, structured and supportive recovery space equipped with the right amenities for comfort.
Their five primary services are designed to guide you from intake assessment to graduation and beyond. These encompass counseling, case management and addiction education. Others include employment readiness training and aftercare support. Counseling may involve both individual and group sessions facilitated by licensed specialists. Emphasis is on individualized treatment and sessions may incorporate Christian based teaching.
This helps you find support, guidance and spiritual growth to aid in your recovery journey. Their drug and alcohol education fosters knowledge about substance use. You’ll learn about the consequences of addiction, preventive measures and strategies for maintaining lasting sobriety. And through engaging in various work activities throughout the program you’ll gain valuable skills and experience to prepare you for employment after treatment. The program lasts for nine months. However after six months you can remain on campus through graduation or go home to complete the program.
