About The Friary Of Lakeview Center – Gulf Breeze
The Friary of Lakeview Center provides inpatient and outpatient treatment in Gulf Breeze, Florida to adults struggling with mental health and addiction. While they don’t accept Medicaid or Medicare, they do accept Tricare. What I found interesting is that the property was originally used as a retreat for Franciscan monks. They kept the grounds with the old Pensacola style with azalea bushes and oak trees with Spanish moss.
Whether you receive inpatient or outpatient treatment, you will be in a serene environment by the Pensacola Bay. The center is one of the oldest addiction treatment centers in the Southeast.
The length of their inpatient program is 23-30 days. If it is determined that their intensive outpatient program is better for you, then you can expect to attend 20-24 sessions that span over six to eight weeks.
You can expect to see treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational enhancement therapy and experiential therapy. I do like that they will address gender specific concerns and special problems that professionals face.
Medication assisted treatment is available if needed. I like that they will also address chronic medical conditions that are associated with addiction, as well trauma and abuse.
They do encourage family involvement through their family program. Your loved ones will be able to attend weekly educational and therapeutic sessions. You will have your plan of action developed before discharge. They will be able to connect you to continuing care groups and 12 step meetings.
