About The Haven – Denver
The Haven, in Denver, Colorado, offers drug rehab services for justice involved young adult women and adult women. The center provides inpatient programs, transitional living, and aftercare.
The Haven can serve up to 40 clients at a time. Women undergo individual and group counseling through cognitive behavioral therapy approaches, Stages of Change, contingency management, and community reinforcement to strengthen their recovery. Life skills development can include education and health classes, and clients receive primary care, career coaching, enrollment in 12 Steps programs and parenting classes. All transportation, meals, and healthcare needs are provided through court ordered programs. The program lasts 9 to 12 months.
Clients may be eligible for extended care in transitional housing. The Haven Harmon House provides residential care for up to 26 women and 10 infants. Clients further their life skills and strengthen their coping mechanisms.
Funding is provided through government agencies. Expenses may accrue additional fees. Please check with your insurance provider, such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Optum, and Wellpoint for out of network benefits as coverage varies.
