Tailored for the LGTBQIA+ community, Pride Institute – Outpatient is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They provide treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders and drug and alcohol addiction. They accept Minnesota Medicaid, VA insurance and will work with outside loan agencies. Medication assisted treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, residential treatment, and partial hospitalization programs are offered.
Their treatment services include trauma therapy, family therapy and equine therapy. They strive to let those in the LGBTQIA+ community know that their identities and experience will be affirmed by the care providers. The residential program can be both short and long term depending on your needs. The average stay is 25 days but can be elongated to 60-90 days. Transgender support groups are also available.
