About The Recovery Council – Waverly
The Recovery Council is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Waverly, Ohio. They are an outpatient facility that treats people for substance use disorder and alcohol use disorder. They treat people with dual diagnoses who have an addiction issue and a mental health condition at the same time. They have several different levels of care here. Their partial hospitalization program (PHP) is the most intensive level of care they offer. You will go in for treatment all day every day and go home at night. If you participate in their intensive outpatient program (IOP), you’ll come in several times a week or several hours a day. They also have standard outpatient care in which you will come in once or twice a week for treatment for an hour.
Cognitive behavioral therapy is used to treat people with substance use disorder. The therapist will work with you to change your way of thinking so you can make better decisions in the future.
They also have several different types of group therapy available. They teach life skills such as money management and nutrition. They offer anger management classes to help people who use substances to control their emotions or who cannot control their emotions when they are under the influence of substances.
