About The Resource Group Counseling and Education Center – Towson
Resource Group is an outpatient facility in Towson, Maryland. They provide an immersive outpatient addiction treatment program, DUI programs, therapy, and medication management. The goal of treatment is to provide tools to help you structure your pathway to wellness.
During the immersive outpatient program, you can expect to participate in three days per week of 90 minute group treatments. This program also includes an individual therapy session once a week. Treatment sessions focus on training in self-help, relapse prevention, psychoeducation, and mindfulness. You’ll be encouraged to attend 12 step meetings and other self help groups outside of treatment.
The standard outpatient program consists of two 90 minute group therapy sessions per week. To qualify for this program you must have two to three months of continuous sobriety. The state approved DUI and DWI programs include a 12 hour and a 26 hour class option. The classes are held every Tuesday evening and program length is dependent on clinical evaluation.
