About The Teen Project – Los Angeles
The Teen Project offers residential addiction and mental health treatment for female youth in Los Angeles, California. They also provide valuable community resources, including referrals, crisis support, transitional living, and family support services.
Treatment at The Teen Project begins with a mental health assessment to screen for symptoms of addiction or co-occurring mental health disorders. Other services include the following:
Adults attend individual and group treatment sessions for improved coping skills, peer support, and recovery support. Sessions are held 3-4 days a week.
The inpatient programs at The Teen Project use evidence-based practices to treat substance abuse and co-occurring mental health conditions for young women, ages 18 to 25. The Teen Project has various treatment centers throughout CA. Their admissions coordinator will advise on the most suitable option.
The Teen Project provides free drug treatment to individuals who have been in the foster system or experienced homelessness as a youth.
