About THS – Therapeutic Health Services – Eastside Branch – Bellevue
Therapeutic Health Services – Eastside Branch is an accredited addiction recovery clinic in Bellevue, Washington. They offer medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorders (OUDs), standard outpatient therapy and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs). They provide mental health counseling as well and are equipped to handle dual diagnosis conditions. Bellevue is about 10 miles east of Seattle. It’s about a 20-minute drive to get to the clinic from downtown Seattle.
Their MAT program uses FDA approved meds alongside counseling to treat opioid or alcohol addiction. You’ll either receive methadone or suboxone depending on your unique symptoms. These meds curb physiological cravings and minimize withdrawal symptoms. They back this up with strength-based counseling and other treatment supports to ensure holistic healing. Dually diagnosed patients may receive a psychiatric evaluation, mental health assessment and medication management services. This is in addition to counseling.
They also provide crisis intervention, mental health court referral services and case management. Case management involves care coordination and linkage to community resources that support lasting recovery. This ranges from housing assistance to job placement, educational support and medical care. They even offer tailored mental health support for African Americans.
A particularly unique service available here is their pregnant and parenting program. This helps expectant moms deliver healthy babies while equipping parents with the skills to build healthy family lives. Emphasis is on moving past substance use through quality and compassionate care. The program tackles women’s general health issues, domestic violence and parenting skills. Sexual abuse, reproductive health care and child neglect or abuse are addressed as well.
Additional support is provided via individual counseling and therapy groups focused on reducing “use” while improving parenting/relationship skills. The group covers prenatal care, recovery skills, family support and women’s issues. You’ll also benefit from access to public health nursing and their WIC programs.
The facility supports folks involved with the criminal justice system as well. They offer a drug court program for low level felony offenders in partnership with King County. They also provide DUI services and support for those on probation.
They offer veterans outreach programs as well. These help veterans access military pensions, education benefits and housing loan assistance.
