About Torrance – Lomita Alano Club – Torrance
The Lomita Alano Club is in Torrance California. It’s a community-based addiction recovery program, offering peer support for men, women, young adults, and teenagers. Programs are free of charge and presented in English and Spanish.
Lomita Alano Club runs Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), and Al-Anon meetings that focus on group therapy and education for recovery. Al-Anon provides support and education for families who are supporting someone experiencing addiction. All the meetings are anonymous, free, and run multiple times a week. Participants may receive individual coaching from a sponsor.
By following the 12 Step addiction recovery program, Lomita Alano Club focuses on recovery life-skills training that promotes whole-person wellness and equips them to prevent relapse. The 12 Step model supports recovery physically, psychologically, emotionally, and socially. Anyone requiring a higher level of addiction support may be referred to a drug rehab.
Lomita Alano Club’s services are available at no cost to clients. However, peers may refer each other for paid addiction, drug rehab, medical, or medical health services which may be covered by insurance providers, including Wellmark, TRICARE, ComPsych, Cigna, and Bright Health. Always consult your provider to confirm coverage and out-of-network benefits.
