About Total Freedom Program – Ocoee
Total Freedom is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Ocoee, Florida. It is a residential program that treats people with substance or alcohol use disorder. They are a Christian based service that uses spirituality to treat addiction issues. They use a four step program to get people to commit to a life of sobriety.
This facility calls itself an alternative treatment center. The therapists at Total Freedom believe that people suffering with addictions are often in denial. During the first two steps of the program they work to get people to admit that they have a problem. They will teach you that you must make a connection between the physical world and the spiritual world in order to heal.
The third and fourth parts of the program involve disconnecting from people in your past who supplied you with drugs or who you used substances with. They will ask you to take accountability for your own actions. You must take this accountability to God and to another person.
There are two programs available. One is a 90 day intensive and the other is a nine month long program. Therapy involves biblical teachings in a classroom setting. Clients in the nine month program must obtain employment and pay rent.
