About Transitional Living Communities – Dana House – Mesa
Dana House is part of Transitional Living Communities in Mesa, Arizona. They welcome adults seeking addiction care, regardless of finances. You’ll have a supportive peer living community as you work towards your recovery goals.
They utilize counseling, relapse prevention classes, drug testing, and 12-Step meetings to help you reach recovery. Their program measures treatment progress in three stages. As you move on to each level, you gain more privileges and independence.
In the first two weeks of treatment, they only allow you to leave the facility to attend 12-Step meetings and find employment. Once you find a job, a 12-Step home group, and a sponsor, you’ll progress to level one. At this level, you can leave the property alone while adhering to a curfew.
After you’ve achieved level one’s requirements for 30 days, you advance to level two. You’ll have more privileges, like a later curfew as well as weekend and overnight passes.
What stands out most to me is their treatment approach. They offer the ideal balance of autonomy and support in each stage to help you gain discipline. Their structured program provides the tools to reach long term recovery while working on yourself. You develop a healthy routine to carry on in daily life after treatment.
